Shou Sugi Ban Frake
Fraké is an African hardwood with a fine, even grain, a light base tone, and virtually no knots. Due to this calm hardwood structure, Fraké reacts differently to fire than softwood: the Shou Sugi Ban surface appears more even and sleek, with a deep sheen rarely seen anywhere else. Furthermore, the charring gives the wood natural resistance to fungi, insects, and UV. Finished with a protective sealer. For architects and designers who want to distinguish their project.
