In our Shou Sugi Ban collection, craftsmanship, tradition, and modern technology come together. We select high-quality wood species such as Accoya, Kebony, and Larch, which are perfectly suited to the centuries-old Japanese burning technique. By burning the wood in a controlled manner, a deep texture, intense color, and a unique pattern are created that can never be exactly reproduced. As a result, each panel acquires its own identity: rugged, luxurious, and with a powerful natural appearance.

What makes Shou Sugi Ban special is that the burnt layer provides the wood with extra protection. The structure created during the burning process acts as a natural barrier against the elements. Accoya produces a particularly uniform, graphite-like texture; bamboo, on the other hand, displays a warm, dense pattern with clean lines. The color variations within our collection range from intense black to richer wood tones. Through the combination of burning, brushing, and finishing, we can create various gradations: from rough and charred to subtle and refined.
