Tbilisi Sheet material
A beautiful type of wood we found in Georgia is Elm. These beams are harvested from old barns and buildings and processed into panels in a local social workshop. This is glued together into a stable 3-ply board, which is supported with small nails to beautifully position the decor. The elm, also known as Olmen, has a warm brown color that is slightly redder than, for example, oak and harder than softwood. These 3-ply panels are highly suitable for making kitchen doors and other furniture and applications that benefit from stability.
