Rustic Oak Panel Material
Oak is widely used for furniture. The art is always to keep the characteristic oak surface flat. A cabinetmaker can, of course, provide metal strips and cleats. We prefer working with a solid and stable base: our 3-ply oak panels. The front and back sides consist of 4 mm solid oak with a 12 mm solid layer in between. This cross-layer construction relieves tension and saves the installer the need for beveling. The panels are available in a (virtually flawless) A/B quality and a rustic quality with more character. The knots are filled with dark filler.
